In Mexico, we proudly refer to this vibrant craft as Repujado. Repujado, or Repousse, is a mesmerizing ancient technique that transforms a thin sheet of metal into awe-inspiring three-dimensional masterpieces, bursting with volume and texture. its deep roots in Mexican art history, I, as a Mexican-Canadian, am excited to weave these rich cultural traditions into my artwork.
